Local entrepreneurs, Chris Ricard and Dan Civiero, have done their homework and will be opening the doors on Vancouver’s first Escape Room entrant, SmartyPantz, in Gastown in February. Ricard and Civiero are game and puzzle enthusiasts who heard about Escape Rooms through Ricard’s MBA program experience. The pair have enlisted experts from the film and television industry and are committed to providing the most immersive, visceral and social escape room experience. The rooms all have a back story, with a host actor, in costume, to guide you through your journey. Ricard and Civiero already have plans to open in Edmonton and Calgary in 2015. The sky’s the limit!
